As children, we instinctively communicate through art long before we have any idea about what writing even is. Then somewhere along the path to “growing up”, our natural sense of creative expression is pushed aside as we come to rely exclusively on words and writing. And before you know it, we can’t even imagine a time when we communicated solely through art and drawing, and not writing.

What if we could reclaim some of that lost balance? Could nurturing both artistic and written expression open new doors to empathy, connection, and meaning in our communication?
